On 19 June 2019 I was sitting at the 32.08 Vechnoye Leto coffee shop on Kisialiova Street in Minsk. A guy rode up on this. That was it, love at first sight.
I ask, “What is that?” He goes, “A custom. The owner’s actually selling it, he’s leaving Belarus.” Two days later the bike was parked at my place.

A pure city café racer. The workshop calls it a street tracker, fine by me. One cylinder, it shakes, tops out around 90 km/h. Strictly for riding around town.
No electric starter at all, you kick it to life. But it’s great. The real thing.

The guys at Recast Moto built it. They’re great: they take old bikes and turn them into stuff like this, made for the rider. They ship worldwide. Want one? Links below.
